Hello from my own personal paradise,
I hope you are having an excellent week. Every week down here in Acapulco is, for me, perfect. I have no complaints… and that is good, because half the people don't care about my problems and the others are probably happy I have them.
FUN AND GAMES WITH THE IRS
As I write this I am sitting in Mangos, a sports bar on the beach, one of my many “offices” in Acapulco. As I swig back my scotch and enjoy living in the land of the free, TDV Managing Editor, Redmond Weissenberger, just sent me a link to this site: http://www.icwgames.com. I almost coughed up my 18 year old Glenfiddich when I saw it. Thank you, btw, Scotland based TDV readers for enlightening me that Johnny Walker Black is “used to clean toilets in Caledonia”.
The link Redmond sent is a game site brought to you by our extortionist friends at the IRS. They offer us three fun games:
- “Follow the Money”, a detective game that has nothing to do with the IRS, where you try to find a guy who stole money from a company. The reason for this theme is because if they actually had a game where you tried to find a guy who illegally avoided giving money to the IRS then he'd be the hero and not the antagonist.
- “Got a Grip on College?” helps you add up the unbelievable expenses it now takes in the US just to learn things that are all freely available on the internet. Thanks IRS!
- “IRS Match Game” is a memory game devised to recruit future criminals to the agency where you can choose amongst many options including, “We're Stable” (of course they are, they have the legal right to steal from 305 million people) or “Fantastic Benefits” (all paid for by their extortion of fellow humans living in the geographic region wherein the IRS claims to have a right to nearly half the income of the people). What great benefits! What a fun game!
But, in the fascist US today, one of the only places to get a job is with the government. The government is simply overwhelming the entire economy… and this is the feature topic in the May issue of TDV coming out on May 7th. Governments are a growth industry! MOVIE OF THE YEAR
I often state that becoming an anarchist can ruin your life… your life as it used to be. And that is completely true. Once you realize that we've been hoodwinked through organized brainwashing into believing in the false god of statism and can see the lies and cognitative dissonance all around you, it just isn't that easy to enjoy cocktail parties amongst unenlightened slaves anymore.
The same goes for movies. Before the advent of cheap videocameras, recording technology and a worldwide free distribution system called the internet (thank you yet again capitalism!) almost any decent quality movie would have come out of Hollywood… the Hollywood that is a propaganda arm of the US Government. So, once you see how state-biased almost every movie is, it becomes nearly unwatchable. Another movie glorifying or justifying war? Another movie where the President is portrayed as a hero? Another where the cop is the protagonist? You don't need ipecac once you see the majority of Hollywood releases for what they really are.
So, when I heard about Bobcat Goldthwait produced “God Bless America” I rushed to download it. It was promoted as “this decade's version of the 1993 classic, Falling Down” and that is exactly what it is. It takes direct aim, literally, at many of the horrible things in American culture as the lead character goes on a shooting spree ending in (spoiler alert) the protagonists slaughtering the entire cast and audience of American Starz (an obvious take on American Idol). The movie should be considered therapeutic treatment to the kind of people who read this blog. I felt so much better after watching.

It's a pretty sad commentary on the current state of affairs when a movie about killing almost everyone in US society (not in most countries… there is no reason to want to shoot anyone in Mexico, for example) is a feel-good film of the year.
Never heard about it in the mainstream media? What a surprise.
THE CHOICE IS NOT YOURS
Speaking of the horrific mainstream culture in the US, the Canadian satellite TV provider whose broadcast range reaches all the way down to southern Mexico (Shaw Direct) recently added CNN to its HD channel offerings. I viewed this news with angst. I hadn't watched CNN in years because I refuse to watch anything on TV that isn't in HD… but I also knew that now that they had added it to the HD channel line-up that I would find myself late at night curiously checking it out… and I have.
I've channel surfed numerous times over to CNN in the last few months and I seriously can't believe anyone watches this tripe for even one second. It is almost literally 24 hours per day of watching the “race for the presidency”… nothing changes, ever, from day to day, but they follow every little thing that Mitt Romney, Newt Gringrich, Barack O'bomber or lyin' Joe Biden say down to what they are eating, where they are and what they read off their teleprompters. And just like how Christmas celebrations seem to start earlier every year, now starting the second Halloween ends, the presidential race is covered more than a year in advance… meaning that a lot of US citizens have to watch completely meaningless garbage for at least a year every four years!
Numerous times over the last decade I have laughed at brainwashed Americans who think that a) democracy is good and b) the US currently is the optimal form of democracy. Even if you are so ignorant to believe that democracy is good, in most countries you have countless parties to choose from… in the US: two! Two! It almost is like they are laughing in the face of the citizenry who can't even see this for the farce that it is.
But, even worse, is that they both not only do but actually say the exact same things! Here's a great video showing the great divide between the two choices being prepared for the slaves this November:
Black Sheep's “The Choice Is Yours” is one of hip hop's best tracks of all-time (rap btw is one of the truly anarchic music forms)… but in the case of the US, there is no choice. There is Obama-bot versus Romney-bot, both programmed to say and do the exact same things. Vote Obamney 2012!
That other guy, the old fuddie duddie? Oh, he's unelectable. Here is a photo from his rally in Houston a few days ago. Now you can see why he never gets covered in the mainstream media… no one seems to care.
THE GREAT MOVE TO ACAPULCO
I realized recently that we are really creating something special here in Acapulco. We've had non-stop TDV readers coming down to visit and many are even moving here. Just this week alone we have two young men coming down to live in Acapulco at AcaCondos. They are just renting units at the moment but both will be looking to buy in the coming year.
Funnily, one of the guys emailed a few weeks ago to ask about job opportunities with us. I responded that we didn't have anything at the moment… but our business is growing at such a pace that in the past few days alone we've realized we need to hire more people. He doesn't even know this yet… but as soon as he arrives we'll likely throw him into the office and get him to work.
I'd like to thank all our readers, subscribers and clients of our products (see all our products which we created in response to your demand here) for turning TDV into not just a viable enterprise but a potentially world-changing endeavor.
We have the most amazing and interesting readers/subscribers/clients. I can't even tell you who many of them are but there are no shortage of famous billionaires amongst our ranks! I've yet to meet a TDV subscriber who isn't interesting or enlightening. For this reason we are going to set-up a number of “meet-ups” here in Acapulco. Send an email to Michael Bach and what we will do is arrange for groups of 4-8 people (we don't want it to be too big or impersonal) to come down to see a glimpse of freedom and hang out with other freedom-minded individuals. I guarantee that you will have the time of your life. No one has ever left unchanged from the experience here… and now we have so many TDV'ers living here that it is growing into a community.
We are even looking at buying some land nearby and creating a TDV community on the beach. We are considering doing it “co-housing” style (thanks to a TDV reader for turning us on to this concept). Essentially, there will be some common areas and the community will be built around a truly communal (which is strange I know, considering most of us are anarchists) lifestyle. There will be a central kitchen where meals will be prepared daily for everyone at next to no expense (cooks cost $10/day)… and we want to make everything as cheap as possible so young libertarian families can come down and live here. We are hoping to make it a truly amazing community… and if it goes well we'll look to duplicate this model in places around the world.
I also want to set-up services where we have a Spanish/English speaking concierge who can take care of anyone's needs in the community. As example, if you are older and in ill health (usually from having lived in the western world for your entire life) we will have people available 24 hours and world-class doctors who can come at a moment's noticed to your house… and it costs next-to-nothing. You'll be taken care of in English and can be sure you are not being taken advantage of or go to the wrong hospitals (there are dozens in Acapulco… from the highest most VIP treatment to unbelievably cheap hospitals… whatever your price range).
