I won't bore you with all the usual rants about how much I can't stand being in the US. You've heard it all before. Sure, I was told at least twenty times last night what I could do and where… and at what time. The most awkward was when, at midnight, the outdoor smoking and drinking area automatically became a non-drinking area and I tried to straddle this apparent invisible line wherein I now, suddenly, was not allowed to drink one foot astride of the line on one side and was not allowed to smoke one foot to the other side of the line. But, I'm almost getting used to all the freedom here and just submitted. I don't even raise much of a ruckus anymore… you can't talk to zombies.
Thank goodness I can almost swim to Tijuana from here so I never felt totally trapped knowing I have options.
What is more interesting is all the war drums currently being beaten here in the home of the world police.
SYRIA
I've found all this hoopla from the US government on Syria to be quite interesting!
As background, when I first found out about the internet in 1994 I was incredibly excited and I stated, "there will never be a large war again!"
My thesis was that if people could access real information (not the propaganda of the mainstream media) and also have ways to communicate with others around the world that they would never buy into all the usual misinformation that gathers support for a war. I've actually mostly been proven correct too. There hasn't been a large war in the world since. People call the US terrorist invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan "wars", but unless I am mistaken, it can only be called a war when there are two armies fighting. When there is just one it is just a major problem with obscenely armed and murderous illegal immigrants.
Of course, the US government is constantly trying to get support to invade many countries. Almost every few months, like clockwork, all of a sudden North Korea and its imminent threat to the US is all over the media. But, hardly anyone buys it. And, all of a sudden, that threat just disappears. Then, all of a sudden, Iran is all over the news. They might build a nuclear weapon go the cries! And most people don't buy it. And then it just disappears for awhile.
It's mostly because people have access to real information now and don't believe most of the contrived hype. And they are starting to learn as most realize they've been completely fooled before under exactly the same pretense.
Nobel Peace Prize winner Barrack O'Bombya is trying everything he can, but he just can't get up enough interest to rain down hell on Syrian men, women and children.
The prince of peace stated yesterday, "Today I'm asking Congress to send a message to the world that we are united as one nation."
United? As of last week only 9% of Americans polled thought the US should get involved! That number is almost equivalent to a poll done by The Economist in August where only 8% of people "approve" of Congress! We are now getting into the single digits of Americans who still believe in or support the federal government!
So, they rolled out the same bag of tricks and are trying to get a "coalition of the willing to commit atrocities" rounded up. So, they looked around to see who was just as desperate to divert attention from their collapsing economy as the US. The UK, which is running out of countries to invade, might finally be getting tired and decided to take a pass on this one (all the countries in orange are ones in which they've already occupied or invaded).

It appears only one country in Europe is desperate enough to bomb another place for no particular reason: France. France recently went "full commie" and tried to raise their top income tax rate to 100% and is searching for anything… annnnnything, to keep people's minds off of it.
It's rather funny, really, because during this exact same situation while trying to build a coalition for the Iraq war, the UK bought in and France took a breather. Instantly, the US media turned France into an enemy and for a time even "french fries" were renamed "freedom fries" in the home of the brave.
But, they want in on this one so they are now valiant heroes again! We'll see if the US mainstream presstitutes attack the UK like they did France. No one eats food from England because its so gross so they'll have to find some other word to twist. Perhaps the mainstream media will admonish people with English terrier dogs to call them, "freedom dogs".
But, all this stuff isn't working anymore. As I walked along the Gaslamp district of San Diego I didn't even overhear one of the glassy-eyed, incredibly drunk slaves mention Syria. They all seem to be talking about some guy named Miley Cyrus and how he twerked. I don't know what that is about, but I don't think its related to Syria.
So, with the media not being able to whip people into a frenzy over nothing and many people getting alternative (real) information the war mongers in the Department of Offense at the Pentagram are having a really hard time carrying out their plan.
That plan, already ready ten days after 9/11, according to Wesley Clark, was to "take out" seven countries in five years. Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and "finishing off" in Iran.
But in today's world things aren't going as smoothly for the military industrial complex as they were in the pre-internet age. They've only managed to fully "take out" Iraq and Libya (and Afghanistan, of course) in the ensuing 12 years. Now they are doing their best to garner any support whatsoever to bomb Syria and almost the entire world isn't interested.
The internet has finally begun to awaken humanity and it's beautiful.
Unfortunately, we know from centuries of history that the people who clamor for world political domination never give up. And that means if they are going to try to get support for their plans, they'll have to revert to their time tested tactic of a false flag event.
Syria's deputy foreign minister said on Wednesday that the United States, Britain and France helped "terrorists" use chemical weapons in Syria, and that the same groups would soon use them against Europe.
So, prepare for a staged attack either in Europe or the US to get people scared enough to submit to war. The good news on that is that millions of people around the world, within minutes of that attack, will already have a plethora of evidence showing it was actually done by the European or US governments themselves.
Humanity is awakening and is quickly realizing who is their true enemy… the nation-states and the central banks.
Once the financial and political elites truly realize this they will be down to one option: turning off the internet. There's just one problem, they can't! Already private internet networks are springing up around the world and millions of hackers worldwide can subvert any attack like Janet Napolitano recently stated was coming.
The collapse of the US and Europe war machine and big government will occur. And with it brings in the possibility of a grand new era of peace and prosperity. The trick will be getting through the transition relatively unscathed. So, stick with us here at The Dollar Vigilante to keep abreast of all the news, information and advice on saving your ass and assets.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. It will be much more comfortable to watch this on a flatscreen TV in Latin America, parts of Asia and other relatively obscure places on Earth than to stay in the West and watch it outside your front window.
In the end, no matter what happens with this Syria situation it will result in a win for freedom. If the US receives no support from the world and US population for the attack and slinks back into its hole, it will be a massive win against their oppression as the world realizes that they, through just their minds, can stop them. And, if they do attack Syria with what is really almost zero support from anyone it will finally awaken those who had any last shred of hope for change (or as I prefer to call it, "hope and chains") in Barack Obomba and even most democrats will realize that it was all a lie.
We, as humanity, can't lose on this one. The game has changed. Our goal now should be just to personally survive the transition in comfort. Because this collapse of the murderous nation states and central banks is going to be messy.
