Hello again to all my friends around the world,
I'm still in Acapulco. I'm starting to feel like a boring person… although it's not all that boring… for me anyways. Every morning I get to witness a battle royale between my chihuahuas and an iguana. It always starts and ends the same way but for some reason I absolutely love watching.
And, today, at my evening office, Mangos, I thought for sure I was about to witness a serious event. There are lots of police here in Acapulco… all funded by the US Government to fight their War on People (drugs). I saw a group of heavily armed cops like the ones below surround a woman. Here we go, I thought.

I knew that having the US Government giving Calderón billions of dollars, giving him and the free market narco-entrepreneurs an unlimited supply of heavy arms (Operation Fast and Furious) and him pocketing most of the cash and then sending these guys out on the street would cause a problem that I would witness. They had this woman surrounded. I hopped to my feet, ready to fight.
But, then, she walked away happily with her lit cigarette. She had just walked into their midst for a light. This is how it is here for the most part. The reason? The people in Mexico are very new to this whole police state thing. Your average cop here feels embarrassed walking around heavily armed in a bulletproof vest amongst his friends and family… but he's happy to have a well paying job. Will they eventually get the hang of oppressing the public? Yes, probably… but it takes a while for a culture to change. Still to this day, if you want plants (drugs) or girls the best place to go is to a cop.
One night here, a few years ago in my party days, me and my friends were still out at 10am and looking for somewhere to go and have fun – which is not a problem in Acapulco – it is 24 hours. My friend, a Mexican American who had lived here for some time saw a cop and happily walked over. He asked him where we could get what we were looking for. The cop nodded, made a few phone calls and a few minutes later people showed up with any substance we wanted and car after car pulled up with mostly college girls looking to make some extra money for us to choose from. Of course, I had no interest in any of this… <cough>. But the party did continue on. No SWAT teams, no handcuffs, no cages, no lawyers. People just all got what they wanted. Imagine that.
But, getting back to where I started. I feel like I have been a bit boring lately. I've been here over a month without leaving. But that is soon to change. Next weekend I'll be reporting to you from Taxco. I'm looking forward to visiting that town for the first time as it sounds very interesting. It is only a few hour drive from Acapulco and is a city nearly entirely built on silver. Fortunes were made there in silver mining and still to this day people come from around the world to purchase the silver products which are the main product of the city.
Of course, as any American will tell you, the drive to Taxco is dangerous… and they are right! In Mexico they have things called “topes”, which means speed bumps. Because there really is no such thing as a speed limit in Mexico every little town who feels people are driving too fast through their pueblo puts up some topes. The sizes range from small to a small wall. Some are so large they can almost stop your vehicle going at highway speeds cold! I don't know how many times while driving through Mexico I've found myself about 8 feet off the ground and feeling like the Dukes of Hazzard as I launch off a tope. I really should rig up that General Lee horn to my Chevrolet HHR for added effect! Rarely is there a sign designating that a tope is oncoming… and rarely do they even paint it a different color. You usually only know it was there as you launch through the air.
So, while I am driving to Taxco I fully expect to fly half the distance. That's about the extent of the danger. That and eating some delicious tacos, drinking ice cold local beer for less than $1 and meeting warm and welcoming people. But, more on that next weekend!
THE DR, CHANTILLY, VANCOUVER AND LANCASTER
After that, I'll be heading to the Dominican Republic to check on our residency and passport services there. I am then mulling over a stop in Chantilly, Virginia, host of the next evil Bilderberg meeting around May 31st to boo them and throw eggs as the world's top sociopaths and overall sick and degenerate people roll by in their limos. Then, if I am bailed out in time, I'll head to the World Resource Investment Conference in my old haunt of Vancouver on June 3rd and 4th. I'm particularly excited because it has an epic list of speakers including my mentor, Doug Casey, Rick Rule, David Morgan, Peter Schiff and many more… at a free conference! If you are anywhere near the Pacific NorthWest in early June this is an obvious must-attend event.
And then, shortly after that conference, I've just been invited to the Porcupine Freedom Festival (PorcFest) in Lancaster, New Hampshire… home of the Free State Project. I had to laugh though, because already there has been a lot of problems including that alcohol sales are illegal without specific permits. Let's just call it the free-er state, for now. But, believe me, I'll be there giving a presentation at the main stage in the Pavillion at 7pm with a full glass of wine… I don't recognize the authority of any involuntary government. My presentation is tentatively entitled “One Man's Lifetime Journey from Enslavement to Freedom… And How We Can All Follow”. If you want to camp out with a bunch of anarchists in the middle of nowhere and have some fun, c'mon down! It also has a tremendous roster that I am really excited about including my friends, Adam Kokesh, Stefan Molyneux, Brett Veinotte (School Sucks Podcast) and many more.
WARREN BUFFET IS A SOCIALIST, STATIST MORON
I just can't stop thinking about Warren Buffet and his sidekick, Charlie Munger. Almost everything they say irks me. I wrote about it last week, of course, in “Stick to Value Investing, Charlie Munger“.
In putting together his uneducated, ridiculous case against gold, one of Buffet's mainstays is that “If you molded all the gold in the world into a cube it would be about 68-feet per side. This is four feet shorter (and considerably wider) than a tennis court,” he often states. As though the physical size of money matters. Even if there was only one ounce of gold in the world it could still be money. We'd have to break it down into billions of an ounce but it could still be money.
So, when I saw this stat the other day I thought about silly, old Warren the criminal. While I never take as proof what scientists say, scientists say that if all the water on Earth were contained in a ball, it would have a diameter of only 860 miles.
Jack Cook at the U.S. Geographical Survey created this illustration to show the total amount of water on Earth:

So, there you have it Warren. Water is a very small part of this planet… therefore it shouldn't serve as a life source. What should? I'm sure he's got some socialist, statist contraption that works better… and only he and his friends can create it and tax it. Maybe it's cherry coke.
BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
One of our main focuses here at TDV is to help people survive the massive shift going on in the world today. For those with assets that means helping them keep their assets. For those without assets that means helping them find ways to build their wealth in these trying times where jobs in the west are all but impossible to secure.
This week, on the TDV Subscriber's Only Facebook page, an offer was posted by a TDV subscriber who operates a hotel in Doug Casey's Gultch in Argentina to manage his hotel in exchange for a reasonable living wage and all room and board included. This is quite typical of the kind of opportunities that are now often arising within our community. Like-minded freedom loving individuals from around the world are working together to find opportunities for each other. Some already have assets and need help… others don't have assets and need opportunities.
TDV OPPORTUNITIES
As well, thanks to you and others like you, we are growing tremendously. Here is another opportunity we are offering to our readers/subscribers:
All of our products, newsletter and media are just as relevant to people in China with assets as they are to westerners with assets. But, TDV is already blocked by the Great Firewall of China… and even if it wasn't blocked, most Chinese don't speak sufficient English to understand our blog, newsletter and our offerings. We are looking for a 100% fluent Mandarin/Cantonese Chinese person, preferably who lives outside of China to avoid government retribution, to help us educate, advise and offer products for mainland Chinese to get their assets outside of the control of their own self-professed owners, the Chinese government. The market is already there (“Half of Chinese Millionaires Leaving China“)… the Chinese foray into state-capitalism has created countless millionaires but the dictatorial government has also created a need for them to get their assets outside of the country.
Contact us at tdv@dollarvigilante.com today if you want to franchise TDV in China.
RAISING RATES
As many of you know, we have responded to your requests by creating the products you desire. You said you want an easy way to get a second passport without the difficulty of having to figure out who is legitimate or not in each country… so we went out and did the legwork and have set-up services to easily get passports in the Dominican Republic, Paraguay, St. Kitts and Nevis, Dominica and even in the European Union. And we continue to negotiate directly with the Cambodian Government on setting up an easy-to-get investment passport. But, all of these things we are doing are constantly in flux. And what we are realizing on at least a few of our products is that our prices are to low to cover our time and cost.
Specifically, in the Dominican Republic, we'll soon be raising our rates. To those who are already into the process we will commit to the inflation-adjusted prices we had when you began the process. And if you call/email us before May 15th, we will give you the previous rate. On May 15th we will be raising our rates for Dominican Passports by approximately 30%.
The same goes for our TDV Self-Directed IRA product. What we have been doing is creating products due to demand… and we often just make up a price at the beginning, because we don't fully understand all the cost and time involved at first… consider it an “introductory price”. But, as with the DR passports, with the Self-Directed IRA product we have realized we are losing money offering it at such a low price. We will also be raising our rates by about 20% on May 15th. Go to the Self-Directed IRA page today and enquire to lock-in the prior price.
Of course, ALL of the products we offer are discounted to TDV subscribers, also, so if you are interested in any of these products and aren't a subscriber, subscribe today to take advantage of the discount.
APOLOGY AND NON-APOLOGY
I am sorry if a number of these recent dispatches are focused on our products or on hiring for our products. But, again, thanks to you, we are one of the fastest growing entreprises on Earth at the moment. We've been hiring nearly daily lately to keep up with demand. But, I also like to think that we are also helping many people with both our products and our offers for employment/enterprise. This is the new world… we have to work together to find new ways to survive, thrive and prosper. The old ways don't work anymore… and good riddance. They were all backed by the thin veneer of violence, war and theft.
We are building an amazing community of people who see reality for what it is really is. Democracy is slavery. Government is violence. And central banks are centrally planned counterfeiters only given power by the barrel of a gun.
UNTIL NEXT WEEK
That's all for this week. I've got a date with my wife to go to the Galerias Diana VIP theater, which has reclining seats and waitresses serving you (for about $8 per ticket) to see the Avengers in 3D. I cringed when I heard that “Captain Amerika” is one of the Avengers but I also hear it is a decent movie so I thought it might be nice to go and relax for a few hours with my beautiful, anarchist wife.
The Avengers, by the way, grossed $200 million in their first weekend… an all-time box-office record.
Remember that as the US Government tries to pass the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA) to protect Hollywood. And, oh yeah, to censor the internet.
Stay free, amigos.
