Schooled in the Marxism of Saul Alinsky and Weather Underground member Bill Ayers, Obomber recently claimed that entrepreneurs “didn’t build” their businesses.

Obama was paraphrasing the unbearable Elizabeth Warren, candidate in the 2012 Massachusetts State Senate Election. Her quote in full:
“No! There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own. Nobody! You built a factory out there? Good for you! But I want to be clear: You moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for. You hired workers the rest of us paid to educate. You, uh, were safe in your factory because of police forces and fire forces that the rest of us paid for. You didn’t have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory and hire someone to protect against this because of the work the rest of us did.”
Never mind that roads, railroads, and sailing ships in the 19th century were uniformly private. Never mind that the greatest rise in the quality of life in the world occurred before governments had seized monopoly control of the “education” of “citizens”. Never mind that in today’s stagnating economic world, the few bright lights are seen in such purely free market areas as cell phones.
No, there is a reason even staunch Partisan democratic super wealthy are defecting from the USSA: the slow crawl towards socialism and The End Of The Monetary System As We Know It (TEOTMSAWKI).
SHRUG TIME
Many of those who you would normally call “early adopters” already left, a while ago. People like Marc Faber, Jim Rogers, Doug Casey and the vigilante himself, Jeff Berwick. And, that was before the outright movement against the productive. Now that most US politicians are all but castigating anyone who dare create wealth, those who remain have to ask themselves, is it shrug time?
At the very least, the productive class needs to be looking at getting a second passport (find out more on how here), offshoring their companies and banking (more on that here) and looking at expatriation options which we discuss regularly. Or, look at getting out to one of numerous libertarian communities, just like Galt's Gulch, such as Doug's Gulch in Argentina or Jeff's Gulch in Acapulco… and many more that we intend to cover in our newsletter at TDV over the coming year.
Because, when a dangerous man like Barack Obama, who has never created his own business, is holding all the guns and he tells you that you didn't create the wealth you did… that it is, in effect, “all of ours”, it's time to head for the exit… before he lives up to his word and takes what you've got, for the “greater good”.
