We appreciate Rand Paul's lengthy talk to offer some resistance to the trial-less assassination of Americans via drone. But we're going to keep things shorter here and allow for a little bit of feedback. Read on below…

FINANCES AND TDV

Hello,

I'm a US citizen who has recently turned 18, so I don't have the means to use your service presently, but I have great interest in TDV Passports because I feel threatened by the taxation, conscription and privacy violations that will soon be taking my liberty away. I also fear that the economic structure controlled by the state and central banks will make the US a dangerous place to grow my assets. I hope you can help me plan for the future. I have a few questions.

First, how comfortable should I be financially before attempting to use the service?

Also, if my goal is to protect my wealth and the safety of myself and my family, particularly in terms of taxation, economic stability, and having a place to escape quickly should matters escalate in the US, should I aim toward a passport, citizenship and residency together? Or would I only need one or two of these?

Additionally, which country would he the best option for my purposes? I'd prefer a place close to home, where my family might still have to live.

Thanks for your time,

Nick

Jeff’s Response:

Nick, first of all these are all fantastic questions and they make it clear that you have a wisdom and understanding way beyond your years. We here at TDV are happy to have you as a reader.

You are correct in assuming that other citizenships and passports do require a certain level of financial comfort. Some programs are definitely for wealthier customers, but a couple of our other programs are much more modestly priced and are great values that are very popular with our clientele. You can find out more when you contact us at TDV Passports.

But to get to that level of "financial comfort" we offer wealth-multiplying actionable advice to our TDV subscribers. In fact, right now there is such enormous opportunity abounding because of the insane actions of the Fed that I am "pounding the table" about the junior gold miners. Those who haven't already are strongly encouraged to sign up for TDV's weekly dispatch and get our best picks.

If you find yourself stuck in the economically collapsing police state, we have a solution for that, too, in the form of TDV Homegrown. Homegrown's staff spend all their time finding ways to keep one step ahead of the state, remaining free and prosperous in the midst of a nation-state determined to stamp out both wealth and freedom.

As for a nearby country, I may be a bit biased, but I would point you in the direction of Mexico. So much more freedom is available literally just beyond the southern border of the USSA! If you head north, you end up in the polar opposite of Mexico: Canada, the land of feel-good fascism.

I happen to love it here in beautiful Acapulco, but maybe a place like San Miguel would be more your speed. It's a lovely historical haven for Amerikans and Kanadians seeking to live freer lives. Our friend Jim Karger has been helping people experience the wonder of San Miguel. That's part of his role as a TDV Concierge (access to whom is a free benefit of signing up for TDV Basic or Premium). Just about everyone Jim helps ends up shutting down their slave lives in the US and starting fresh and free in San Miguel…some of them just a day or two after their first visit!

We're here to help unslave everyone we can. Even if Mexico doesn't work for all, there are TDV Concierge services popping up all over the globe. Personally, we'd still advise staying away from all the crumbling Western nations. Look to Latin America if you want to stay close to home, or Asia (not totalitarian China or Japan which is essentially a Western nation at this point) if you're a bit more adventurous.

If you have the means to leave right now, be sure to see how we can help at TDV Passports.  If you want to build up the means, be sure to get our best advice at TDV Premium  (and also get the bonus Concierge service to help figure out where to go).  If you decide to stay at home, be sure to sign up for Homegrown.

Whatever you decide, Nick, know that we are thrilled to have readers like you. All the best!

FEAR MONGERING RACISM

Gary,

While I certainly agree with much of the financial opinions of this site, pieces like this destroy your credibility. Also, I do not and would not live in America, as it is in the advanced stages of a corporate takeover.

President Obama, while not able or willing to fight those "behind the curtain," is hardly responsible for action taken over the past 40 to 50 years (read the Powell Memo for the blueprint to the corporate takeover of America (and later the world)).

Studies show that children that are enrolled in Pre K have a significant increase in basic learning skills. The Obama proposal is to fund  Pre K for poor kids in an effort to level the playing field, giving those in poverty an greater chance of escaping the systemic cycle of poverty.

Mr. Gibson, your fear mongering is a pathetic disgrace… now, off to cleanse my bookmark list!

Gary’s Response:

I'd be lying if I said I didn't see this coming. Obama may be the very best thing ever to happen to the state. A black face covers up all kinds of sin. Obama can lie, steal and murder worse than George "W", but no one can say a word about it without being called a racist.

Let me be clear. ALL presidents are just thugs at the top of criminal empires. They all deal death, sanctify theft and rule at gunpoint.

But it's absolutely comical how people will excuse the president that they voted for themselves. If the "other" party's president does the same wickedness, then he's a bad man. But if their party's president does the same things…well, he's only doing what he must with the purest of intentions!

And about that "systemic cycle of poverty"…If you really want people to stop being so desperately poor, then get the government out of the monopoly on money whence the inflation of the money supply "systemically" transfers wealth from the poorest to the wealthiest.

And those poor kids whom Pre K is supposed to help…how much better would they be helped by a free market in education. The free market, after all, tends to make consumer goods and services cheaper and higher quality over time. A free market in education would mean immense variety and price points to suit the various kinds of families in the market for the stuff. And it would be much more moral than stealin money (taxes) to fund an inefficient "education" system that is really just a whole lot of indoctrination.

DR. PAUL

Dear Mr. Berwick:

As one who has never done any investing, how does one go about it if one wanted to invest in the way Dr. Paul does?  Do you happen to know if he does it all himself or does he have someone who handles his investments for him?

Not having any experience doing these things, I would obviously need guidance.  How do I go about finding someone to do this, someone with a good track record who can be trusted?

Any information you can provide will be most gratefully appreciated.

With warmest regards,

Bill

Jeff’s Response:

We don't know Dr. Paul personally, Bill, nor do we know anyone who advices his investments. But we do happen to have a crack team of experts who share Dr. Paul's apparent investment philosophy.

For longer-term profits in the gold market, look no further than the advice of TDV senior analyst Ed Bugos. I have been pounding the table lately about the gold miners and premium subscribers to TDV's weekly newsletter have had the benefit of Ed's best pics. Ed is the kind of analyst who is right way ahead of the crowd. He was recommending gold back in 2000 when that kind of advice would get you laughed at and maybe even shot. But those who listen to him get the benefit of stocking up on the right plays when they are still extremely unpopular and cheap. To start putting Ed's advice to work for you, just click here.
