Hello and Happy "4/20" from inside the empire in New York City,
It certainly has been an interesting time to be in the USSA this week. I normally can watch events like the Boston Marathon bombings while comfortably on my patio in a place like Acapulco, Mexico or Santiago, Chile. I can rest easy in these places with the knowledge that there is little chance that whatever craziness happens in the US won't soon be at my front door.
This week however I've been in Manhattan and definitely made an audible "gulp" sound when I read Friday afternoon that they believed the person responsible for the Boston Marathon bombing may have fled to NYC and I was forwarded this, "Dragnet for One Man Moves to NYC– Mayor to Lock Down City, National Guard Called Up To Help".
It went on to say, "FBI Agents have reported that the suspect is holed up in a secure house in NY City somewhere and has asked Mayor Bloomberg to lock down the city and the airports and bus and trains and subways to begin a massive search. People are being asked to not come to work tomorrow."
Oh, that's interesting, I thought, leaning back in my chair and wondering if I should throw my stuff in my suitcase like I just woke up an hour late to catch a flight and literally run to the airport. I didn't "do" anything that should make me feel the need to flee. But, a well known anarchist, here in NYC to attend the "Anarchy in the NYC" conference today while the entire city is locked down and searched is just prone to be uncomfortable to say the least! It had already been locked down much more than I was comfortable with!
I would have a better chance of escaping the police state, however, due to having a few foreign passports… which again highlights the value of that.
Initial Thoughts on the Boston Bombing
As for the bombing and events of this week itself I have often stated in the past that I rarely comment too much on anything until I have access to a lot of evidence – mostly brought forth by alternative internet media, bloggers and just regular people who actually investigate things, like Luke Rudkowski who I hear was in Boston this week actually asking questions rather than the mainstream media which could be easily replaced by a more modern Max Headroom directly reading government press releases off the wire.
For that reason I won't comment too much on all the bizarre things associated with this event. Such as the episode of "Family Guy" aired three weeks ago (and now completely removed from the Internet) with the father Peter acting as a Muslim terrorist and setting off two bombs at the Boston Marathon a few seconds apart. The episode also contained a scene with Peter driving across the finish line and it looked almost exactly like the event, right down to the exact same location (same side of the street just meters from the finish line) and bodies lying everywhere… right down to a man in an orange outfit lying on the ground, exactly like that one older jogger who fell very awkwardly after the blast. And another great critical thinker and friend, Michael Suede (previously on Anarchast) has been analyzing all the known info and evidence and sees a lot more questions than answers here.
It is also interesting that yesterday was the 20th anniversary of the Waco terrorist attacks orchestrated by "Billary" and Janet Reno that incinerated 70 mostly innocent men, women and children. It's also the anniversary of the Oklahoma City terrorist attack on April 19, 1995, which was supposedly in retaliation for Waco (hence the same date) and which has been all but proven to have been something very different than the official conspiracy theory. But rather than try to critically analyze the Boston events this week I'd rather focus on what wasn't reported. On the exact same day that three people were killed in Boston there were bombings in Iraq that killed 42 and wounded 257 more. And that happens almost every day… now that the US Department of Offense has given the people of Iraq the gift of democracy. Not to mention the regular drone bombings of wedding parties by the prince of peace, Barack Obama around the world killing plenty of women and children.
All are terrible events. Any time people are blown up for no reason it is heinous.
The answer, although you won't hear this too much from the US government nor the mainstream media, lies in peace and love not aggression and retaliation.
The Future Still Looks Bright
Things are changing very fast today in the human experience and most of the changes are incredibly good. Did you know the average life span 100 years ago was 40? In centuries past it was often in the 20s. Do you realize that the average IQ of an average person 100 years ago was what we would call, nowadays, mentally retarded. And that IQ levels go up significantly every generation (the Flynn effect)? Although it is hard to tell in places like the US with so much drugging, dumbing down and public edumacation.
Have you taken time to consider that things like the iPhone didn't even exist until June, 2007? Now, everyone's got one… and I mean everyone and they are connected to it as if it were an additional appendage. And, even iPhone is quickly losing market share as it is too dated now. Things change fast, baby.
For the first time ever in the US, this year, more people now get their "news" from the Internet than from the mainstream media. This is massive. We are evolving. Get your kids out of public schools and even private schools with the possible exception of Montessori. Of course, many can't. They have so much taken from them via theft in the incredibly anachronistic collective/statist system that they are hamstrung. In that case, just get them out of school. Get them on the Internet. Kids are naturally curious. School is forcing them to learn mostly useless things and to obey and that sucks the curiosity out of most. There have been studies measuring curiosity in children in different grades. Around grade 6 it is measured at over 80%. By the time they have completed their sentence it is near 20%.
We, as humanity are evolving to something greater. Where we're going, we won't need schools. Or roads. Or any of the things the collectivists whine about losing if there is no state to provide it with stolen money.
Back To Boston
In any case, let's suppose that the official story on the Boston bombings are true. I know, it's highly unlikely given the track record of the US government and its mainstream media marketing department. But, let's assume it is true just as a thought experiment.
So, these Chechen brothers whose family has already had to flee the scourge of statism in Chechnya and Russia and are already probably quite emotionally damaged were feeling like the things they were seeing around them were wrong (perhaps due to Islam, perhaps not). And, because of that, they decided to blow people up.
Let's just start there. The modern history of Chechnya is statism and collectivism at its worst. It is quite possible it emotionally damaged tens of thousands if not way more. Strike against the state. Then, according to the official conspiracy theory, the older brother was feeling unhappy because he was a golden gloves boxer who was shut out from competing because he was not born in the US. Strike against the state. Then they supposedly said that they felt the people around them in the US were doing lots of things they disagree with. Things like drinking too much. And they also apparently said that they do not feel connected to other people around them.
Hey guys, me too! The USSA has been so savaged by this collectivist/statist anachronistic system that it is about one in a thousand people that I actually feel a connection with when I am here. Compare that to a place like Mexico where it is more like one in two… or Thailand, nearly one in one. Or even Chile, one in three. The system is warping the people and society in the US.
I won't blow people up because of it, but I can understand how someone could go down that path.
And, finally, they decided to use violence. This is the sad part. Violence solves nothing and only destroys everything. This is the page that humanity has to get on. We have enough evidence now that voluntary, non-aggressive transactions now offer much more reward than violence and theft. The last few hundred years have proven that… although many people confuse the state as being the reason for it just because it was also there at the same time.
I do have some hope to offer. If you have mostly lived in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia or Japan for the last few decades then you may not be aware of the massive changes going on here on Earth. Just like the Indians and Chinese skipped a few generations of technology from going from nothing to 4G, much of the world hasn't been infected by this ridiculous, religious like belief in the collectivist/statist system.
And that is why I suggest that for those who do live in the West to consider just leaving. There are a lot of zombies here. Watching them clap and wave flags and shake the hands of their oppressors, the police, in Boston today only reinforces that. They are living in the past, man.
Sure, if those Chechan brothers were the bombers, the police did an ok job of finding them. Of course, they were mostly found from technology (thousands of photos and videos). We can solve these things without all the bureaucracy. Not to mention, the ridiculousness of closing down an entire city because one 19-year-old kid was "on the loose". Land of the free and home of the brave? Millions of Bostonians cowered in their homes, doors locked, because some 150-pound kid might be running amok and hoped that King Obama and his charges would save them.
Quite pathetic in my estimation. Land of the brave in the US. Maybe before… not now.
If I knew a 19-year-old kid was in my neighborhood and may be violent I'd first send my personal bodyguard out on lookout. Then, I'd unleash my two chihuahuas for ankle attacks and a lot of screeching. My cocker spaniel would take out his knees… and then my boxer would take some big chunks out of the rest of his body.
If he got past that I'd be sitting there with my firearms… also an ex-boxer and past martial artist. If somehow he got past all that, my wife who is a competitive lifter and trains in Muay Thay daily and owns a pistol would be next. And, if somehow he got past that, my 8 and 6 year olds already are competitive level fighters. I'll be offering to teach them about firearms in the next few years.
Because American cities, especially socialist nightmares like New York and Boston, have collectivized "security", then they need to get used to being on lockdown with militarized police swarming the streets. If security were decentralized and private — including personal protection devices and actual paid guards — then acts of aggression would almost cease to exist. (Of course if society were free, there would be no non-voluntary poverty or politicized radicalism that would lead to violence either.) When you have collectivized "security" in the form of a police force, then you will have more crime since most people are turned into unarmed sheep thus lowering the risk cost of criminality.
And the only way the inefficient collectivized police can respond to anything effectively is by massing and rolling through the streets and invading homes, while the people's privacy and freedom of movement are both suspended. Boston and that poster child for nanny police statism, New York, have recently made that very clear.
It's possible that this response really wasn't necessary to capture one teenager, however. It's possible that this level of response was to condition Americans to seeing so many jackbooted thugs from both the military and the militarized police on their streets. The police state has landed in full view, but the process was gradual enough and rolled out at the right key moments that most Americans still consider worries about a police state to be paranoid.
Stuck in the Nanny Police State
In New York, the nanny-statism runs deep. I have countless stories, but Boston overtook many of them.
Even in Texas, one of the last semi-freedom minded places left in the USSA, this sign was spotted.
Don't drink and walk? That's going to be tough. I guess, bring a wheelchair. I've been arrested numerous times in the land of the free for drinking and walking so I was aware that is now illegal. But, as one waitress freaked out when I was smoking outside of her restaurant and asked me to step into the street to smoke I said to her, "It must be tough dealing with all this freedom."
She responded, "It's a $5,000 fine if you smoke outside our restaurant… and, what freedom?"
They are slowly getting it. Actually many people already get it, but they live as slaves in a very oppressive system and don't know how to escape it.
