The Dollar Vigilante (TDV) began over three years ago with one mission in mind: to awaken people in the US to the impending collapse of the dollar and to give info, advice and solutions for not only surviving during and after the collapse but also prospering (which we provide in the subscription based TDV newsletters). Very quickly, however, we realized that this message was important for all people in the West.
The term “West” has different meanings to different people but we generally use it to imply most of Europe, the US, Canada, Australia, and other nation-states which have branched off from European colonial origin. We also sometimes include Japan in the West because of how it has followed the Western style central banking debt-based system, but our message to most Japanese isn't likely heard due to the language barrier.
As we progressed it became quite clear that not only did people need info and advice but also actual solutions. As we surveyed the landscape it became quite clear that many of the solutions that people wanted weren't readily available nor easy to find. That was the beginning of TDV Passports, which has now grown into the largest passport provider on Earth, helping people attain passports in numerous countries (and constantly adding to that list).
It was also the beginning of TDV Offshore, which helps consult with people on options for legally setting up offshore bank accounts and corporations, and TDV Self-Directed IRAs, which help internationalize IRA assets to invest in things like precious metals outside the country and even foreign real estate. As well, we have just launched a high net worth (over $1 million) asset protection and internationalization management service (that can currently be reached via TDV Offshore and will soon have its own name under TDV Wealth Management). And, of course, seeing the need for people who wish to move out of the US or other Western countries, we helped found Galt's Gulch Chile to give people options for defection.
What we have found, however, is that English speaking people in the West aren't the only ones with a dire need to internationalize their lives and assets. In fact, a large number of the people who have begun to contact TDV Passports hail from places like China, Russia and the Middle East. The amount of well-off Syrians, Iraqis, and Iranians who want a second passport has been unsurprisingly large.
TDV GOES GLOBAL
As our next progession, TDV is going global with its message and with its services to help other foreign nationals also escape their own oppressive governments.
We are proud to announce the official launch of TDV Spain and TDV Latin America this week. Both will be fully in Spanish.
TDV Spain's focus will be on helping those in Spain internationalize themselves to escape the coming collapse of the Euro and the Spanish economy (which is already in collapse with over 50% of youths unemployed) and a coming Cyprus-style bank shutdown.
TDV Latin America (TDVLA) will focus on major issues in Latin America and likely will be of great interest to people in places like Argentina and Venezuela which have capital controls and very oppressive governments. As well, TDVLA will also give info and advice to those in some of the more booming economies such as Colombia, Peru and Chile as to opportunities throughout Latin America.
All that, of course, in addition to covering the ongoing changes in all those areas and giving the TDV perspective on economics and politics.
